Curriculum Development and Design

In this session, Selma Powell, Ph.D. and Teddi Beam-Conroy, Ph.D. from the Washington State CEEDAR Collaborative will focus on providing an overview of materials that were recently developed teacher preparation programs that can be used to review courses in order to promote inclusive practices, amplify the voices and perspectives of people who have been historically marginalized, include diverse authors, and expansive research.
Selma Powell, Ph.D is currently an Associate Teaching professor at the University of Washington and serves as the director of the special education teacher education program. Teddi Beam-Conroy is currently an Associate Teaching professor at the University of Washington and serves as the director of the Elementary Teacher Education Program program.
